You make the call

Staff can ask for access from the block page. You approve or deny it, and TierTek does the rest.

How it works

Three layers working together

Most web filters only work inside the office. WebTek protects your network, every Chrome and Edge browser, and shows you what's happening. Laptops stay covered wherever they go.

1

Network protection

Your office network filters at the source, so every device is covered, including phones and guest devices. Nothing has to be installed on them.

  • Adult content & gambling
  • Gaming services
  • Per-office settings
2

Browser protection — on any network

TierTek's own Chrome & Edge filter is installed silently by our management tools. Staff can't remove it, and the rules still apply on home Wi-Fi, in a hotel or on a hotspot.

  • Website categories
  • YouTube by video type
  • Block or allow any site
3

Visibility & reporting

WebTek activity reports show where work time goes, by category, by person and by hour. Work hours and after-hours are reported separately. Download them as a PDF or spreadsheet.

  • Category breakdowns
  • After-hours activity
  • HR-ready PDF reports

Security

Close the doors attackers and accidents walk through

Risky websites are a common way into a business. They carry malicious ads and fake downloads, and they lead to accounts and files leaving the company. WebTek lets you choose what to shut off, and it's built so staff can't get around it.

Choose what to block

Turn categories on or off for your whole company, a single office or one computer. The category lists update automatically every day.

Built so staff can't work around it

Can't be removed

The filter is locked in place by company policy. Staff can't turn it off or uninstall it, and Guest browsing is disabled.

Follows the laptop

The same rules apply at home, in a hotel or on a phone hotspot. You don't need a VPN back to the office.

Shortcuts closed

Proxy and VPN sites can be blocked, and the browser's encrypted-DNS bypass is switched off.

Watched by TierTek

Routine health checks catch any computer where the filter is missing, out of date or not enforced, and we fix it.

Personal accounts flagged

WebTek can show which work browsers are signed in to personal email or cloud accounts, a common way company data gets out.

Evidence when you need it

If HR needs a record, we produce a clear PDF from WebTek activity. It's carefully filtered so normal background traffic isn't counted against anyone.

Time savings

Stop the background music. Keep the training.

Blocking YouTube outright breaks training and how-to videos your team actually needs. WebTek filters YouTube by the kind of video: music can be turned off and Education keeps playing.

What we found at one client office
500+ hours

of YouTube on work computers in 90 days, measured by WebTek. Two-thirds of the top-watched time was music playing in the background. Only about 6% was education.

Fixing it takes one setting

Music videos can be switched off for every computer from one screen. Education stays open, and a training video blocked by mistake can be approved in one click.
